Description
A warm, creamy pizza dip layered with seasoned cream cheese, pizza sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, and pepperoni, then baked until bubbly.
Ingredients
8 ounces block-style cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella, divided
1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch of red pepper flakes, optional
1 cup thick pizza sauce
3 ounces mini pepperoni or quartered regular pepperoni
Toasted baguette slices, breadsticks, pretzel bites, crackers, or fresh vegetables, for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 10-inch oven-safe skillet.
2. Stir the cream cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and optional red pepper flakes until evenly combined.
3. Spread the cream cheese mixture across the bottom of the skillet.
4. Spoon the pizza sauce over the base, leaving a narrow border around the edge.
5. Top with the remaining 1 cup mozzarella and arrange the pepperoni evenly over the cheese.
6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the edges bubble, the cheese melts completely, and the pepperoni begins to crisp.
7. Rest for 5 minutes. Cover the hot handle before serving with your preferred dippers.
Notes
Soften the cream cheese so the base mixes and spreads smoothly.
Use low-moisture mozzarella and thick pizza sauce to prevent a watery dip.
Cook and drain any raw meat or moisture-heavy vegetable toppings before adding them.
Refrigerate leftovers within two hours and use within 3–4 days.
