Description

A warm, melty baguette stuffed with creamy brie, salty prosciutto, and sweet honey. Ready in just 25 minutes with only 5 main ingredients. Perfect as an easy appetizer or light lunch.

Ingredients

Scale

1 French baguette (1416 inches)

6 ounces brie cheese, sliced (rind on)

3 ounces prosciutto (68 thin slices)

2 tablespoons honey, plus extra for drizzling

1 tablespoon salted butter, softened

Fresh cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

2. Slice the baguette in half lengthwise, leaving one edge attached as a hinge. Spread softened butter across both cut sides.

3. Arrange brie slices evenly across the bottom half, overlapping slightly.

4. Fold or ruffle prosciutto slices loosely over the brie.

5. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of honey over the prosciutto and brie.

6. Close the baguette and wrap loosely in aluminum foil.

7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the bread is warm and the cheese is melted and gooey.

8. Unwrap, rest 2 minutes, slice into portions, drizzle with extra honey, add cracked pepper, and serve warm.

Notes

Let brie come to room temperature (about 20 minutes) before assembly for even melting.

Don’t wrap foil too tightly — leave room for steam to escape.

Can be assembled up to 24 hours in advance and refrigerated before baking.

Leftover baguette keeps wrapped in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in foil at 325°F for 8–10 minutes.

The rind on brie is edible and safe to eat baked.
