Description

This Jalapeño Potsticker Stir Fry is a cozy one-pan dinner made with crispy potstickers, colorful veggies, and a glossy soy-sesame sauce with a gentle kick. It’s fast, flexible, and perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale

812 oz frozen potstickers (any filling; use veggie potstickers for vegetarian)

2 tablespoons neutral oil (avocado, canola, or vegetable)

1 jalapeño, thinly sliced (remove seeds for less heat)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced (optional)

1 bell pepper, sliced

1 cup snap peas

1 cup carrots, julienned or thinly sliced

2 green onions, sliced

SAUCE

3 tablespoons soy sauce (reduced-sodium if preferred)

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

23 tablespoons water (optional)

Optional toppings: sesame seeds, chili crisp

Instructions

1. Prep everything first (slice veggies, mince garlic, mix sauce) — stir-fries move fast.

2. Whisk sauce: soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, rice vinegar (add water if you want it lighter).

3. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

4. Add potstickers in a single layer and brown on both sides (about 2–4 minutes per side). Transfer to a plate.

5. Add remaining 1 tablespoon oil. Add jalapeño, garlic, and ginger; stir 30–60 seconds until fragrant.

6. Add bell pepper, snap peas, and carrots; stir-fry 3–5 minutes until tender-crisp.

7. Return potstickers to the pan. Pour in sauce; toss gently to coat.

8. Simmer 1–2 minutes until glossy and heated through.

9. Top with green onions (and sesame seeds/chili crisp if desired). Serve immediately.

Notes

Nutrition is an estimate and will vary based on potsticker brand and filling. For lower sodium, use reduced-sodium soy sauce and add a splash of water to stretch the sauce.
