Description
This FireCracker Dip is creamy, bold, and totally customizable — the kind of party dip that disappears fast. Made with simple pantry ingredients and adjustable heat, it’s perfect for last-minute gatherings, game days, or anytime you want big flavor with minimal effort.
Ingredients
-
8 oz cream cheese, softened
-
½ cup sour cream
-
¼ cup mayonnaise
-
1 packet (or 2 tbsp) ranch seasoning
-
1–2 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
-
¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese (or pepper jack)
-
Optional: chili flakes or diced green chiles
Instructions
-
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth and creamy.
-
Add the ranch seasoning and hot sauce. Stir until fully incorporated.
-
Fold in the shredded cheese and any optional add-ins.
-
Taste and adjust seasoning or heat as desired.
-
Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes for best flavor, or serve immediately.
Optional baked version:
Transfer the dip to a small baking dish, sprinkle with extra cheese, and bake at 375°F (190°C) until warm and bubbly.
Notes
-
Letting the dip chill helps the flavors blend and mellow.
-
For a lighter version, swap half the sour cream with Greek yogurt.
-
If the dip gets too spicy, add a bit more cream cheese or sour cream to balance it out.
