  • 2 slices sturdy bread (sourdough or brioche recommended)

  • 23 slices brie cheese or white cheddar

  • 12 teaspoons blueberry jam (or very thinly sliced fresh blueberries)

  • 1 tablespoon butter or mayonnaise (for the bread)


Instructions

  1. Spread butter or mayonnaise evenly on one side of each bread slice.

  2. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in a cold skillet.

  3. Add one layer of cheese, followed by a thin layer of blueberry jam.

  4. Top with the remaining cheese and the second slice of bread (buttered side up).

  5. Cook over medium heat for 3–4 minutes, until the bottom is golden and crisp.

  6. Flip carefully and cook another 3–4 minutes until the second side is golden and the cheese is fully melted.

  7. Remove from the pan, rest for 1 minute, slice, and serve warm.
