Description

A creamy, cheesy comfort food classic! This Cracker Barrel Broccoli Cheddar Chicken is loaded with tender chicken, crisp broccoli, and melty cheddar under a golden cracker topping. The perfect family dinner, and even better as leftovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or 4 smaller pieces)
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup buttery crackers (like Ritz), crushed
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. Place chicken breasts in a single layer in the dish. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  3. Evenly distribute the broccoli florets over the chicken.

  4. In a medium bowl, stir together cream of chicken soup and sour cream until smooth. Spread this mixture over the chicken and broccoli.

  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the sauce.

  6. Mix crushed crackers with melted butter, then sprinkle evenly on top.

  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes, until cheese is bubbling and golden and chicken reaches 165°F internally.

  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
