Description

These creamy, dreamy cheesecake banana pudding bites are the ultimate mashup of two classic Southern desserts. Featuring layers of Nilla wafer crust, silky cream cheese filling, and banana pudding bliss, they’re easy to make and perfect for parties, potlucks, or just indulging at home. Choose from baked or no-bake versions — both are delicious, crowd-pleasing, and freezer-friendly!

Ingredients

Scale

Crust:

  • 1 ½ cups crushed Nilla wafers (or graham crackers)

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

Filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix

  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 cup cold milk

  • ½ tsp banana extract (optional but enhances flavor)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip or whipped cream)

Toppings (optional):

  • Sliced fresh bananas

  • Whipped cream

  • Crushed wafers or caramel drizzle

Instructions

Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (for baked version). Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.

  2. In a bowl, mix crushed Nilla wafers, melted butter, and sugar.

  3. Press about 1 tbsp of crust into each liner. Bake for 5–6 minutes or freeze for 10 minutes if using no-bake.

Filling:

  1. In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.

  2. In another bowl, whisk pudding mix with milk until it thickens.

  3. Combine pudding with cream cheese mixture. Add vanilla and banana extract.

  4. Fold in whipped topping until smooth and creamy.

Assemble:

  1. Spoon or pipe filling into crusts. Smooth the tops.

  2. Chill in the fridge for 2–3 hours or overnight.

Top & Serve:

  1. Add fresh banana slices and a dollop of whipped cream before serving.

  2. Garnish with crushed wafers, caramel, or a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Notes

  • Baked Option: Bake filled bites for 15 minutes at 325°F. Cool and chill before serving.

  • Freezing Tips: Freeze without toppings. Thaw in fridge before serving.

  • Make Ahead: Best chilled overnight for flavor and texture.

  • Banana Tip: Brush banana slices with lemon juice to prevent browning.
